Written for Yoko Ono, it’s been called one of the Beatles’ most powerful love songs.
Speaking about the song, Paul said it was a plea from John, his way of saying, “I’m really stepping out of line on this one. I’m really just letting my vulnerability be seen, so you must not let me down.”
