The Heresy!
So this was posted as a comment on the site that I work for. Note, the site deals with entertainment, so we have a heavily load of Twilight shit.
The context is Stephen Moyer, who plays vampire Bill on True Blood, said this about fictional Edward Cullen, of Twilight:
“He’s the Slim-Fast, Diet Coke of vampires.”
Clearly, it was in jest. But some so-called Twihards didn’t take it so lightly. And this was the response by one clearly aggrieved True Blood fan:
I have no problem with Robert Pattinson. It’s Edward Cullen who I loathe beyond belief. This is what Stephen Moyer was saying. He in no way was dissing Robert Pattinson. He was simply comparing Edward Cullen to the rest of the vampire community. Namely Bill, who is 10000x the vampire that Edward will ever be. People: Vampires do not love and care for you. Sure they can, but they will not hesitate to rape you and kill you in your sleep. They burn in the sun, not turn into a walking diamond mine. And most importantly, they have fangs.
So yeah. Rabid Teenage Fangirls. Get a life aside from Twilight. Go out. Try and get a boyfriend. Do something that doesn’t involve sparkly fag Edward Cullen. And quit obsessing over Robert Pattinson, since chances are, he will not see you and fall in love with you instantly. Chances are, you will never speak with him. Chances are, you will probably never meet, or even see him off of the big screen. Quit taking your rage out on Stephen Moyer, as he probably doesn’t give a crap about what your opinions are anyway. Honestly, some of you are absolute psychopaths, wishing Bill and/or Stephen physical harm, just because you don’t like a few “unkind” words he said about your precious Edward. Give me a break. You act like you’re 5.
Honestly, just another day at the office.
