Oh, hey

So now that I have a growing number of masochistic followers of this site, not everyone here knows me all too well. In fact, most people don’t. So I suppose that I should give people a bit of a better idea of who I am, so that maybe I can influence their decision on whether they should root for me to live or die.

So here are some basics.

I’m 23-years old (b. May 30, 1986). I have two brothers (20 and 14) and an imaginary sister (25) that I made up in high school to have a fun, ongoing lie.

I live in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I was raised in New Jersey, about 25 minutes from Manhattan.

I went to Syracuse University, where I had the time of my life despite not having feeling in my fingers thanks to the fucking cold and coumadin. I majored in Television, Radio and Film, specifically in writing it.

This is my favorite song:

This is my favorite movie (click through to watch the entire thing. You’re welcome):

I believe ALF is one of the television shows of all time.

I wake up Saturday mornings and watch cartoons. I love Pokemon in a way that less enlightened people might consider unhealthy.

Lest you think I am some great person after reading this blog, here is a list of some of my bad habits and character traits:

  1. I often do not recycle, despite my concern about global warming.
  2. I avoid getting on the same subway cars as pregnant women, so that in the event that there is only one seat left, I’m not forced to give it up (I do give it up if I see a pregnant woman, but I like to avoid the situation if possible).
  3. I practice a strict 24-hours and then it’s funny rule. Some people don’t like that so much.
  4. I leave cabinet doors open, which drives some picky roommates insane.
  5. I’ve peed on a lot of buildings.

Also, I should add that I have one more chronic disease. I am addicted to the Mets. And the Jets. And the Knicks. And the Rangers. No wonder my fucking heart exploded earlier than expected.
